|Why don't I like pictures? Because I can never find an angle that doesn't give me double chin. LOL|
Anyways, what's a better way to get those writing juices flowing than to answer a few more questions about myself? Writing about yourself is easy, it's writing about other things that's hard! ;)
1. Are you a very open or private person?
That's a really hard one. I'm open about a lot more than I should be, but there are some things that I keep locked away from everyone, even Michael sometimes. It causes him frustrations to no end, and I'm trying my hardest to at least be open to him. Other people? I don't mind new friends, but there are certain aspects of my life I've never told anyone. Maybe I'm just waiting for the right best friend to come along.
2. What is your favourite Christmas movie?
How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The old animated one. Don't get me wrong, the Jim Carry one is pretty sweet, but I just love the animated version.
3. When did you stop believing in Santa?
First grade... I think. Either that or third. I just know in first grade one of my older friends broke the news to me. I just don't remember if I believed him or not.
4. What do you get complimented on the most?
It's a toss up between my eyes and my hair.
5. How are you feeling right now?
Busy. The dishwasher's running after I messed with it to see if the darn drain would finally start working. I've got dishes piled up because I do NOT want to resort to hand washing. I have clothes that need to be cleaned. Oh, and not to mention playing video games somehow sucks up all of my day so those 3 hours I had set aside for cleaning/household things suddenly turn into -25 minutes. Yes. Negative 25. As one of my friends who plays games with me said just a few days ago, "how did 20 minutes turn into 5 hours?!"
6. If money was no object, where would you move to?
Honestly? The same neighborhood my parents live in. It's a beautiful place with beautiful houses and land and scenery and, more importantly, it's very close to family. It's a 12 hour drive to one of my grandparents' homes and a 8 hour drive to their other home, so no matter where they're staying they're within reach. :)
7. Who was the last person to make you cry?
Michael. I don't even remember what it was, but I got over it pretty quickly. Sometimes little things set you off, ya know?
8. Did you make any resolutions for this year? What were they?
Nope. I never cared for the new years' resolutions. It feels like people make them just because it's what people do, not because they want to make a change in their life.
9. Is there a song which can bring you to tears instantly?
Lifehouse - Everything
10. Who was the last person you talked about sex with?
Michael. Duh. LMAO.
11. How did you bring in the New Year?
Sleeping. Michael and I had a 18+ hour drive to start on the next day.
12. Have you ever online dated?
Yes. I was like 12-13 and 'in love' with one of my friends I'd made online. We dated. It didn't work out. I'm not sure I qualify what we did as dating, but we thought we were at the time so I'll just say yes.
13. Do you believe in soul mates?
Yes. However, I don't believe that your soulmate is the same for your entire life. As you change and grow, your current soulmate might change. Which is why I think it's so incredibly important that if you've found your soulmate you two keep working on your relationship and grow together. You don't want to wake up one day and find yourself falling out of love with someone who is no longer The One.
14. Do you play video games?
*pushes away giant pile of Sims, Ultima Online, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Mass Effect, and numerous other game cases* *hides section of the screen with various game launching icons* *removes section of Steam profile that gives 'hours played'* No. Not at all. <_<
15. What age do people usually mistake you for?
Nowadays? I dunno. I've not recently been in a situation where people had to guess my age. All I know is I still get carded when I buy booze :)
16. What or whom do you miss right now?
Family! I don't see them any more or less than I did in Lubbock, but I guess I've let the physical distance really get to my mind.
17. What perfume do you wear?
What perfume DON'T I wear?!
Oh, you wanted a real answer?
Um... lots of Bath and Body Works. With an occasional drugstore brand mixed in. If I had money (and the nose for it) I'd probably buy higher end things (Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, anyone?!) but for now I'm reduced to drooling over other peoples' hauls.
18. When you wash your hands, do you use the cold or hot faucet?
Hot. It starts off cold, but while I'm rinsing off it gets warm, and I turn if off before it becomes scalding.
19. If you had to be straight/gay for a day (whichever you’re currently not!), what celebrity would you most like to take on a date?
Hmmm. Interesting question.
Jennifer Lawrence. I feel like if her and I met we would hit it off really well.
20. What is the biggest injury you've ever sustained and how did you do it?
Aw, man. I get to end this on a boring answer. I think the biggest 'injury' I've had was a spider bite in 2nd grade that I got sent to the ER for because it got really badly swollen. Besides that I could possibly have had a sprained ankle from basketball, but I walked it off and just suffered through it for a few weeks after. Besides THAT? Maybe strep throat in high school, but I was too stubborn to go to the doctor's. So instead I was left with a month of painful swallowing and deteriorating tonsils that still give me troubles.
I should really thank Dad for giving me his stubbornness about going to the Doctor. It got him in the ER with life threatening non-diagnosed or treated diabeetus. Who knows what it'll do to me.
