Haul: Solstice Scents

For those of you who may or may not be following my Stop & Chat series, you may recall me mentioning making a few fragrance-laden orders. This is the one that started all of the others.

I decided to finally buy because the lovely Julie gifted me a sample of Rose Mallow Cream and I fell in love with the scent. One bottle of perfume, one 10ml spray, and 17 1ml samples later, here we are. So let's take a look!

This haul post won't include my own scent descriptions and reviews; it will only include Solstice Scents' provided fragrance notes. I want to take the time to wear each scent and know how it performs on my skin before going into any in depth reviews. If there are any you see here that you want me to get to sooner rather than later, please let me know!

Rose Mallow Cream: Moroccan Rose absolute, Bulgarian Rose absolute, Marshmallow Fluff, Strawberry Nectar, White Chocolate, Vanilla, White Musk.

Snowshoe Pass: White Amber, White Musk, Vanilla Accord, Peppermint Cream, Cold Winds.

Now for my 1ml samplers! I picked a You-Choose 10-pack and a sampler set of Foxcroft's Autumn Festival, which included 7 pieces. Including my samples I received 19 of these bad boys. Why so many? Because I must try all the scents, of course! :) First let's look at my Foxcroft's Autumn Festival sampler :)

Corvin's Apple Fest: Apple pastries, caramel apples, fresh apples, warm apple cider, vanilla, apple pie, apple cream cheese danish.

Riverside Hayride: Moist dirt, white carnations, fallen leaves, bare branches, hay, pressed apples.

Gibbon's Boarding School: Dusty wooden desks, paper, tobacco pouch, dying fire, dried leaves, leather chairs, autumn breeze.

Smokewood Apiary: Smoked honey, creamed honey, beeswax, amber, wooden frames, ginger, vanilla.

Sycamore Chai: Vanilla chai tea, a ginger-pumpkin roll, marshmallow creme.

Owl Creek Aleworks: Sticky English toffee, pudding, Blackburn's Parlor vanilla ice cream, caramel, toasted coconut & hazelnut, sugared pumpkin cream stout.

Foxcroft Fairgrounds: Cotton candy, cream soda, vanilla taffy, Gridling's funnel cakes, powdered sugar, crisp fall air, woodsmoke, incense.

Now onto what I picked for my 10-pack!

Black Forest: Agarwood, nagarmotha, tobacco absolute, dark chocolate, chocolate mousse, cocoa absolute, maraschino cherries, black cherries, hay absolute, sandalwood, whipped cream, pink peppermint.

Shadows in the Night: White amber, fir, frankincense, elemi, bayberry, spruce, amber, evergreens, peppermint, incense.

Violet Mallow: Marshmallow cream, violet flowers, vanilla bean, white musk.

Smoky Mountain Mallow: Wood smoke, fossilized amber resin, lapsand souchong co2 extract, guaiacwood, labdanum, nutmeg, marshmallow.

Astral Temple: Sensual amber, ginger, orange and clove.

Heart of the Night: Moroccan rose absolute, bulgarian rose absolute, sugar, chocolate, vanilla.

Black Leather, Red Lace: Amber, vanilla, and leather.

Cellar:  Damp earth and stone, wooden casks, cool Fall air, crisp apple, pear, broom corn.

Conjure:  Vanilla, amber, cedar, spices & cauldron smoke.

White Fox:  Vanilla musk, white fur, wood blend, frozen dirt, snow.

Now on to my two samples! Since this was my very first order I got one extra sample, and I asked them to surprise me on their pick. I picked Pharaoh and they picked Manor!

Manor:  Woody-vanilla musk, vanilla accord, glorious black agarwood & esquisite aloeswood.

Pharaoh: Egyptian musk, honey, frankincense.

That's it! I'm really excited to try a lot of these out, as well as some risky ones (the ones that have dirt on them, basically) but it's safe to say that I have several scents to choose from for the foreseeable future! Do you see anything that calls out to you? Have you tried Solstice Scents before?

  1. AMAZING!!!!! I need to try RMC in EDP format. I love it in oil. I also love Corbin's Apple Fest, Manor and Conjure <3

Please review Snowshoe Pass! And the Owlette one pretty please!

    1. RMC on me has some added powdery-musky notes in the beginning and tones down to a sweet concoction. Very white chocolat-ey.

I will gladly review those two for you! <3
