Band of Bloggers - Vol. 4/April 2016

April is upon us! The birds have returned, the Northern Hemisphere has warmed up, the plant life is blooming, and the Band of Bloggers are gearing up for another monthly post. Feel free to join us in this conversation by commenting below!

What product have you tried that has surprised you with its performance? It can be anything that comes to mind.
My Lush hair conditioner, Veganese, has greatly surprised me! It makes my hair super smooth and silky, doesn't weigh it down, doesn't strip my hair of oils or make it overly greasy, and a little goes a long way. I've had it for about two months now and I've barely used 1/5th of my 500g bottle. It's lasting longer than the shampoo I picked up at the same time. Also - it doesn't make my scalp itch! I may have found my holy grail of conditioners. *crosses fingers* The longevity of use I get totally makes up for the price tag, ~$34 USD. If you're in the market for conditioner and have thin wavy/curly hair that is prone to frizzyness, I would highly recommend you try this!

  1. Ummmmmm finding a holy grail conditioner for curly girls is a HUGE thing. We must have a very similar hair type. Dry, thin, curly probe to frizz? Yep. Me to a T. Going to sample this next time I am in Lush.

    1. Tell me if it works out for you! I'm still in partial denial that I've found something that's working for my hair. It seems too good to be true!

  2. Cool that you found something you love. =)

Try as I might, I just can't get into Lush. All that stuff I ordered at the beginning of the year is just sitting here gathering dust. I'm kicking myself now for spending my Christmas money on that instead of the camera I'd originally been planning on. *cries and flees*

    1. At least you know you tried Lush! Now you don't need to wonder whether it's something you'd enjoy or not. Pity about it taking away from your new camera, though. Maybe try destashing it to recoup some of the losses?
