Stop & Chat: August 29-30 Quickie - World of Warcraft Legion Invasions

The 28th I actually got the cleaning done that I wanted to. Since then I've been playing quite a lot of World of Warcraft. The expansion pack is a few hours from going live as I type this, so I've been participating in the pre-expansion pack content.

Relearning characters that I've played until they're second nature isn't fun. I understand the changes, and don't notice a negative difference in my damage output, but the timings across all of my characters are off. Talk about a first world problem. LOL

I'm currently using the invasions to level up my Death Knight to 100. I still haven't decided whether I'm going to level up my Paladin or Druid first to 110. I'm thinking my Paladin, as she's my oldest and favorite character. The Druid is a close 2nd, though. Maybe I'll save one for solo leveling and use the other for when I play with my family.

It's not even noon but I'm going to go ahead and post this as today's S&C because I know what I'm going to do today: play video games.

In non-video gaming news, the weather has continued  to stay cool. This weekend we're supposed to get lots of rain and with it higher temps but we'll see what the reality is. All this week we were supposed to get rain and high temps, but when the day came it'd never happen.

I've also switched my sleep schedule successfully. I'm usually in bed before 2 AM and awake anywhere between 7:00 and 8:30, depending on how I feel. My  sleep quality has greatly improved, as well, which probably explains why I'm doing okay with less sleep than before.

Okay. That was my super quick and snappy update on my life. Since I've gotten back into the habit of blogging I thought I would continue with my almost daily posting.

  1. We didn't get the WoW today like I'd figured we would, but maybe tomorrow if Casey runs in to town after work in the morning. I don't know why I'm even excited. I barely play these days and when I do it's still just solo, low level safe stuff. But still, we've always gotten the expansions and it's always been exciting whenever a new one comes out.

    1. It's fun, but I wouldn't say it's anything special. I think I'm just being careful about not getting too excited. I made that mistake with Warlords of Draenor and the disappointment was horrible.
I'm not playing too much today. Maybe tonight once my family wakes up, but leveling on my own isn't really what I'm interested in when I play WoW.
