HE COULD HAVE FIT ON THE DOOR!
Now, I'm a bit more versed in the movie and crave watching it every so often. Sometimes I don't even watch it. I just put it on in the living room while I clean the house.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14804234325450434702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714980244556913165.post-70693955775792096642016-09-20T14:25:23.699+10:002016-09-20T14:25:23.699+10:00I lived there from '02-'06! The game came out in November 2004, so I played a lot of it in that time. One of the places I spent a lot of time in was Ironforge, so that sort of melded with my memories of November/Thanksgiving/December/Christmas. My mom experimented with some gingerbread cookies in that time, too, so I can't ever eat gingerbread cookies without thinking of the in-game holiday festivities. Basically what I'm saying is "video games are love, video games are life." That was a book that haunted me for years after I read it.
I wonder why fall brings nostalgia back so strongly for so many people. I'm convinced it's because of all the fond childhood memories we associate with all the holidays around this time of year.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14804234325450434702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714980244556913165.post-47679801563267813052016-09-20T07:24:20.587+10:002016-09-20T07:24:20.587+10:00For someone who has watched Titanic about..oh I do...For someone who has watched Titanic about..oh I don't know.. over 100 times, It's so strange to hear someone say they had just watched it only once before. Girl I'll walk you through that whole movie. ha-ha! I am a bit of a movie geek. Good to get to know you a little better. I also love that song Blue! Glad to know I am not the only one. Great post! I'm a huge classical music fan and listen a lot while driving. I went through the same SK, DK and JS phase, though a few years before you. Nothing was better than Koontz's Midnight but I kept reading his stuff trying to find another that scared me as much. Saul's Black Lightning really freaked me out as well. I must order this CFTKR, for sure with that one!
P.S. I live in the land of Nostalgia these days and fall heightens it for meJaybirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15849863681125100236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714980244556913165.post-5563208138601690712016-09-17T11:32:53.561+10:002016-09-17T11:32:53.561+10:00I've always loved little glimpses into other p...I've always loved little glimpses into other peoples' brains, so I figured it would be fun to give a weird glimpse into mine.

I was able to pick up a few of Koontz's newer books a few years ago, but I don't remember which books they were or what they were about at this point. Michael and I always break out in song whenever we mention anything being blue.

Now that you mention it, that totally fits with being fall related for me as well! My sister absolutely loved Twilight and she would play the soundtrack and movie all the time.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14804234325450434702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714980244556913165.post-64774600274342316662016-09-17T11:27:07.499+10:002016-09-17T11:27:07.499+10:00I always wonder if my sleep issues are due to all ...I always wonder if my sleep issues are due to all of the horror stories I grew up reading. Definitely isn't a smart choice to read stuff like that before bed if you have an overactive imagination. I went through a huge Koontz kick, started with The Watchers and went all the way through the Odd Thomas series, though I never caught up completely on it. But you are right. They (both he and King) were in their heyday back in the 90's and early 2000's. Though I did like Duma Key from King which is kinda newer-ish. I loved your answers. <3TheRedolentMermaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12025330454820306972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714980244556913165.post-51702782331515957982016-09-17T01:14:54.008+10:002016-09-17T01:14:54.008+10:00We were hearing Blue (Da Ba Dee) in Germany while ...We were hearing Blue (Da Ba Dee) in Germany while were there (Nov. 1998) before ever hearing it here in the US. When we finally did hear it here, we all laughed like 'Oh hey! It's that song!'

As I was telling Sunnee in a comment on her blog, the New Moon (Twilight series) soundtrack is firmly implanted in my brain as fall related. I was 110% into my soap making adventure while the Twilight movies were coming out and I was listening to the soundtracks nonstop.

~DebDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05658958620972494748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714980244556913165.post-34414267275735270782016-09-17T00:38:40.603+10:002016-09-17T00:38:40.603+10:00It was nice learning a bit more about you through ...It was nice learning a bit more about you through this post. I need to start reading some horror suspense thrillers. I do like that genre, but I tend to read before bed and I'm scared I'll freak myself out too much to sleep!
